History

Rising out of countless nights of hunger, homelessness and abandonment, whereusleepin attempted to use sound and motion to relieve the tragedies and injustices they felt were becoming exponential in their lives and the world at large. Using elements of hardcore, classical, punk and metal the four boys played as hard , fast and sincere as they could, at the time thinking only in the present TENSE.

Despite lack of funding (poverty), tickets for noise violations, police raids, intimidation by local millionaires (black hawk hotel) and musical "connections" non-existent, whereusleepin, in early 2004, prevailed to release a self titled full length album, with extravagant packaging, all free off charge! They played their first and last show at the FSU Garage with Hugs and disappeared into the rolling plains of fern to find work elsewhere....
