I grew up on a farm near Decorah and was a great fan of Black Flag, DK, Bad Brains, etc. I found that I wasn't the only person in Iowa using their brains when I ran into a drunken, beligerent member of the Aggressive Chubbies while mis-using some public property (names, dates, & locations withheld). I attended Luther College for a year (although I don't remember going to any classes), moved to Rochester and made weekly trips back for fun-n-games. Then, after an ill-fated trip to California with another one of the Chubbies, I ended up in Dallas, Texas at the Art Institute. After finishing school there, I returned to the area to try to cause some more mayhem. I succeeded, then left to work at theatres around the country. I now work at a casino in Minnesota as the Entertainment Technical Manager. This must be some form of instant karma for all the bad shit I said about country bands, as that seems to be the only thing that gets booked into the showroom.
