The Garden

The Garden was a coffeehouse on College Hill in Cedar Falls in the early to mid-90's. They would sometimes have live music.

The Garden was located in what I think is now still the Wild Hair salon; the original Bought Again Books was at that time in the lower level, which is now a piercing place or something, I think. I had Adam put my new earrings in there went I went up from 8 gauge to 6 a couple years ago. I saw Tripmaster Monkey put on an amazing show for about 8 kids in The Garden once, and Mugwump also blew my mind there on at least one occasion. (chuck hoffman)

• The original location of Mohair Pear was in the basement space under The Garden.
• The Garden was in the former location of Hyperspace arcade, a video game arcade popular in the early to mid '80s. They had 25 cent hot dogs or 5 for a dollar.
• Steve owned the joint. He played in several local bands.
