Sworn Enemy was a five-piece hardcore band from Waverly, Iowa from 1988-1989. They were originally known as The Irate Youth.

I also remember that the band name was also later changed to D.M. Fits, in 1990 or so. We performed at least a show or two in 1991 at the Waverly 4-H Building under that name as well. If my memory is correct, Waste Not was also one of the incarnations of this group. There were many of the same members in each of these groups, and Jay Perkins was kind of the organizer of all of them.
