History
Band from Iowa City formed from the ashes of Suburban Death Trip in 1987. Replacing PJ Partyhead with Iowa Beef Experience drummer Bob Hall, the band re-acronymized as Sonic Disruption Theory (SDT).
After releasing a 3 song 7", they played in the spring of 1987 at Dean's Parkade Lounge in Cedar Falls.
Later, they spent a few months in Florida recording their new album. Frustrated with the lack of opportunities in the local Iowa City scene, the band moved to San Francisco in late 1987 to better promote the band to a larger audience.
Opened for the Circle Jerks in Houston in 1987.
