Aaron Curtis
From The Secret History of the Cedar Valley
A talented drummer in many CF bands in the 80's and 90's. Known by kids in the late 90's by the affectionate moniker "Old Man Curtis", referring to his role as elder statesman of the scene. Worked at CoOp Records in CF. Died suddenly a few years ago. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Memories
(Chuck Hoffman:) Aaron was my homeboy at Co-Op Records. He used to let me into the store to hang out with him after closing time while he cleaned up and closed up the place. He was an enthusiastic supporter of many of my bands and recording projects and an all around great guy, and we shared a lot of our more esoteric musical tastes. I regret very much that we didn't get to hang out more outside his work environment. I heard that he moved to somewhere in Wisconsin, and then some years later heard that he had died, though more than one account of the circumstances of the event reached me. His spirit continues to inspire me in some way or other, at least I hope so.
