Band Members

History

Formed in 1984 by former members of Government Butter (Eric Svensen) in Des Moines. Their first show was under the name "The Proof" with former lead singer Matt Carey opening up for Minneapolis band the Phones at Riff's (formerly So's Your Mothers) in February of 1985. Played in Minneapolis, Chicago, Des Moines, Iowa City, Cedar Falls, and Kansas City and have shared the stage with House of Large Sizes, Game Theory, Full Fathom Five, The Dangtrippers, and several other Midwest bands.

Disbanded in 1990 after three Iowa Compilations and a 4 song EP on SouthEast Records. The band reunited in 2006 only to disband again in 2007 when guitarist John Robinson moved out of state. During this short time, the band recorded an albums worth of old an new material and played several shows in the Des Moines area. The band is currently #38 on the GarageBand.com Power Pop Charts. Look forward to a 2007 release.

Discography

Moveable Feast was also featured on the first three Iowa Compilations on South East Records.
