"Cowlick is the great punk hope of this town. This is the first recorded document of this blazing trio, and it captures them in top form and almost equals their formidable live sound. The recording quality is surprisingly excellent and the playing is tighter than an anaconda's embrace. Wild and fast hardcore in a slightly old school vein that shows a subtle rhythmic and melodic proficiency that makes this above average stuff. The tape includes a raved up version of a medieval English folk song, "Shady Grove". I won't stop raving about these guys, so send 5 dollars J.D.'s way and hear what I'm talking about."
