Cottontail
From The Secret History of the Cedar Valley
Cottontail was a three-piece punk band from Iowa City, IA from 1992-1994. Cottontail was primarily a high school garage band playing a few shows in Iowa City at the Unitarian Church, Iowa City West High, and traveled as far as Princeton, IL. A tight rhythm section fronted by off-key caterwauling and sloppy guitar playing characterized the group. May be best known by skinheads of the day for playing "Darkness" by the seminal Cleveland hardcore band Integrity at a few shows. Cottontail was blessed to have played with the almighty Los Marauders.
