From The Secret History of the Cedar Valley

Local music shop that was located in the college square mall plaza for many years. In the late 90s, it moved to College Hill, where it stood until 2003, when it closed due to disapointing sales.

CoOp employed many local musicians including Dave Deibler, Aaron Curtis Mark Wilson and Brad Brandhorst to name a few, and was managed by a one Scott Schnabel, uncle of Kevin Geist.

It was also a place local groups could consign their tapes and records.
