Bad Karma, which was earlier called Clipper Gore, was a zine written, scotch-taped, and lovingly photocopied by Chuck Hoffman, Jeremy Spaulding, and Chris Callahan.

Jeremy Spaulding later went on to do Wilson's Diary.

  • It included reviews of a lot of independent punk, indie, and noise-rock releases and local shows, interviews with a few artists who played in Iowa (Alternative Tentacles Records was known to hook them up pretty fat) and opinionated screeds, poems, comics, fucked-up collages, what-have-you, laid out in a very random free-form manner.
