  • Clarence and the Clarences was a band that was scheduled to play many live shows throughout Cedar Falls around 1996-1998.
  • Despite being promoted to play many shows on the shows flyers, the band never showed up to play an actual show. They are no thanked for this in No Consensus' album Going to my Cousins.
  • It is believed that Clarence sounds like the name of a parakeet.
