Booker & Slappy's Skateboard Band
From The Secret History of the Cedar Valley

History
Cedar Falls had skate-boards and skate-boarders. Cedar Falls also had music. Of the myriad of genres represented in the Cedar Falls music scene (which included Punk, Ska, Metal, and Blues) there was not music for skateboards. The niche was there (see first sentence) and it maybe needed to be filled.
So it was that local skateboarding legend Jon "Booker" Grim combined his prodigious musical talents with local skateboarding buffoon Slappy (known by a few for his alien technology endowed Inviso-board) to capitalize on the niche market. And capitalize they did. They likely made money on the endeavor and so they retired.
Today Jon is a proud father and caring husband in St. Paul (where there are also skateboarders) and Slappy's amusing, if repetitive, antics are largely forgotten. Although the band failed to foster a dynastical genre for skateboards beyond their own music, they will be remembered by some. The rest, is history.

Lyrics
Fruit War
Filthy oranges never write in pencil
They use ink made of the blood of migrant workers
Little doggies eat the workers' lunch
Kill their families for one more day of work
Give me more fruit my face is corrupted
I'd get away but my escape plans are interrupted by
Corporate bigots who sell people for five dollars
Too bad they can't get along the same as apples and oranges
The establishment was established to establish oppression
To disestablish their estate; that's my obsession
Disrupt the continuity of their hateful sack of lies
Enter five pounds of bacon! It's a food fight!
Fruit war
Death by chocolate
Fruit war
Yeah right
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
