History

The Bad Ass Dudes (B.A.D.) were formed as a joke band to play at an NU talent show. For their audition tape, they covered two Ramones songs, "Beat on the Brat" and "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend." They also wrote three original songs, "J-Fo's Standing on his Soapbox," "Breastany," and "The B.A.D. Theme Song."

However, the talent show was cancelled, so they ended up just playing a show in the Wilsons basement (Jane's Day Care). The playlist included the aforementioned original and Ramones songs, as well as covers of Modest Mouse, They Might Be Giants and Ryan Creery's "I'm a Shape Shifter."
