History
Iowa's first "alternative" band. Formed in 1981 by Paul Stanard and Dave Edwards. Brad Roth, Mark Penner and Lonnie Urich joined. Played alot. Paul and Dave left. Greg Owen arrived. Played more. Broke up in 1983. Reunited in 2005. Played a little. Broke up in 2006. Resumed again in 2007.
ATOY's Sound
Mix equal parts Joy Divison, Bauhaus,The Birthday Party, Dick Dale, The Ventures, James Brown, Roxy Music, Chrome, T-Rex and Bowie. Stir well.
