3 Lbs. of Love
From The Secret History of the Cedar Valley
3lbs of love, sometimes mis-spelled 3lbs. of love or Three pounds of love, is a Rock and Roll band based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band consists of members Ryan Pearson (Guitar and Lead Vocals), Jake Staron (Bass and bass vocals) and Jeff Kessler (one hand drums,screams, noise, etc..) <ref> (www.myspace.com/3lbsoflove) Since their formation in the fall of 2005, they have been extensively touring the midwest and have released two live recordings entitled "Live at the Reverb" and "3lbs of Love, Live at the Reverb" both of which have received limited acclaim from close friends and family. It is rumored that 3lbs is in the process of creating a studio album on the Zamnasty record label with a release date in the summer of 2008.
